Chan Chen Xin
BSc (Hons) in Phty (UTAR)
Specialise in: Neck
- Schroth Practitioner
- Trigger Point Dry Needling (GEMt)
- Active Isolated Stretching (AIS)
- Management of Upper Limb Impingement (Australia)
- Visceral Manipulation (Japan)
“ Every time you sit tall or move with care, you’re helping your neck heal. Recovery happens not just here, but in your everyday life.“
Chen Xin is a passionate and experienced physiotherapist, specializing in neck and cervical spine rehabilitation, with over 5 years of clinical experience. Her journey into this niche area was deeply personal — inspired by her father’s struggle with severe headaches and hand numbness caused by cervical spine issues. This life-changing experience ignited her mission to help others overcome similar challenges through focused, evidence-based care.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) in 2020, and has since pursued advanced training in cervical biomechanics, manual therapy, and nerve-related conditions of the neck and upper limbs.
Throughout her career, she noticed that many patients with neck-related symptoms were often misdiagnosed or under-treated. Determined to close that gap, she immersed herself in mastering differential diagnosis, palpation, and targeted intervention strategies specific to cervical dysfunctions.
Today, she leads the neck rehabilitation program at Your Physio, where she is known for her clear communication, accurate hands-on assessments, personalized treatment plans and ultimate care of patients. She also mentors junior physiotherapists in handling complex neck cases, from cervicogenic headaches to nerve root compression.
Her mission is simple yet powerful:
To help patients start living pain-free, confident lives — and to make sure what happened to her father doesn’t happen to others.

Nerve manipulation, on the other hand, focuses on freeing restrictions along nerve pathways to alleviate symptoms such as tingling, radiating pain, and muscular dysfunction.
She also provided manual lymphatic drainage therapy, which supports the body’s natural detoxification process and reduces swelling or fluid retention.
