General Health Treatment
Chest Pain
Chest pain can be described as different types of chest discomfort, such as squeezing feeling, sharp pain, or burning sensation.
Chest pain may occur with a virus infection that affects the breathing muscles. The chest and breathing muscles become sore, therefore the person would feel pain in the chest area of the body.
Lung Pain
Lung pain also may occur with virus infection. Some people with virus may develop pneumonia, which causes the inflammation of the lungs that leads to lung pain.
People with lung pain would have discomfort at the chest region of the body, which is similar to chest pain.
Pulmonary rehabilitation
Pulmonary rehabilitation programs may improve quality of life by reducing shortness of breath, increase exercise tolerance, promote a sense of well-being, reducing the number of hospitalizations.
Breathing Difficulty
Breathing difficulty or shortness of breath is one of the hallmark symptoms of virus.
People with breathing difficulty symptoms due to virus can persist and quickly escalate. They may feel their chest may feel too tight to inhale or exhale fully, it may happen during active or resting, it can come on gradually or suddenly.
The fallout from this ongoing battle between the immune system and the virus leaves behind pus, which is made up of excess fluid and dead cells in the lung. This results in respiratory tract symptoms which includes breathing difficulty.
Post ICU Rehabilitation
Hospitalized patients with virus infection often experience significant pulmonary complications, including severe pneumonia and acute respiratory distress-like syndrome.
Other than that, many of the patients also developed post-intensive care syndrome (PICS) , a condition that can include ICU-acquired weakness, cognitive or brain dysfunction and other mental health disorders due to prolonged ICU stay.
Therefore, we highly recommend post ICU rehabilitation as it’s crucial for patients to recover smoothly.
Recent Treatment Feedback
I want to share my own experience here, I have breathing difficulty since june 2021 and I have look for few other doctors to find for solution but they have no answer for me.
When I come to Your Physio for the first time, the solution to my difficulty breathing finally has an answer😻, they explained everything to me why I am having breathing difficulty and now I am totally out of this suffering. Thanks to everyone in your physio, is really helpful and they are very friendly. 👍🏻
They were able to help me relieve from my pain.
